Hosted by the South Central Gospel Partnership at St Ebbe’s Church, this study day is taught by Garry Williams and Neil Martin (Pastor’s Academy, London Seminary). The topic is the vital one of Preaching the God-Man: Defending and Delighting in the Incarnation
These study days blend exegetical, historical, and systematic theology. They will help you to understand more deeply the implications of doctrine for individual and corporate Christian living. All the days are intended for pastors with a good level of theological understanding, but they are open to any men or women interested in learning theology for ministry.
The cost of a doctrine day is £40. Booking is vital for this study day – please book with the Pastors’ Academy (details of how to do this will appear here soon)
Lunch is not provided but St Ebbe’s is next door to Sainsburys and the Westgate Shopping Centre so it is very easy to pop out to get lunch.
The day will run in the Pennyfarthing (the white building opposite St Ebbe’s in Pennyfarthing Place).

The Epistles are real letters and each of them were written with a particular purpose to Christians in a particular context. To understand how they apply to us today we need to first understand what they meant for their original recipients. So what tools do we need to understand them and how can we avoid misapplying them?
Join us for a day of interactive learning as we look together at the book of Titus and discover some of the tools we need to handle this Biblical genre well.
St Mary’s Church, Basingstoke are kindly hosting the day, which will be led by Carrie Sandom, Director of Women’s Ministry at the Proclamation Trust and tutor at the Cornhill Training Course in London. The teaching day is open to women who teach the Bible in any context – whether in large groups, small groups or one to one—or who have yet to take the plunge and would like to learn how.
